Hereditary Angioedema: Multidisciplinary Strategies to Reduce Emergency Room Visits provides a unique view of HAE from a patients perspective and then engages three experts from the fields of Allergy/Immunology, Critical Care and Emergency Medicine in a discussion of HAE. They review the pathophysiology and clinical presentations of Angioedema including HAE. This is important as many patients with HAE are treated as if they have allergic angioedema. This leads to ineffective that, in some cases, may lead to life threatening outcomes.
