REB_at_desk.jpgRobert has over 30 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. After graduating from Mississippi State University, he began his career as a Sales Representative with Beecham Labs. Robert then joined Miles/Bayer as a Sales Representative and rapidly was promoted to a Hospital Sales Specialist prior to accepting a position as a Sales Trainer in Bayer’s US headquarters in West Haven, CT. Following his tenure as a Sales Trainer, Robert joined the Medical Science Liaison team focusing on Continuing Education for healthcare providers and Clinical Research. After several years as a MSL, Robert was promoted to a management role within the team. From there he went on to the International Strategic Marketing team in Wuppertal, Germany where he was International Manager of Scientific Affairs. He was responsible for the Bayer presence at the major international conferences. Following his tenure at Bayer, Robert worked as Associate Director for Medical Education at Purdue Pharma in Stamford, CT.

Robert also has a vast array of experience in International Medical Communications. In addition to his experience with Bayer, he also was a Director of Client Services with PPSI, a division of Parexel International Medical Marketing Services. In 2003, Robert relocated back to the Tampa area join two pharmacists to start a Healthcare Consulting firm known as Conexus Health.
CE Symmetry, LLC was then formed in 2008 and has had a very successful first several years. The company focuses on a number of therapeutic areas and has a special affinity for working with small disease states. Many of these are in the rare disorder category.

Robert also maintains an active role in the Continuing Education arena and has lectured frequently on the changes in the CE environment. He provides consulting services for numerous clients on the intricacies of industry sponsored CE activities/strategies.


 



Graham Batte

Graham Batte_2.jpgAs CE Symmetry's Director of Client Services, Graham's primary role is to ensure successful project design and implementation. He monitors and coordinates team efforts and is responsible for assembling and consolidating individual project components to generate finished products.  Graham works closely with clients and team members alike to ensure prompt, on-time delivery of programs and projects that meet and exceed expectations. Complete client satisfaction is Graham's primary objective. 

Prior to joining the CE Symmetry team, Graham worked for Clinical Pharmacology Services on the Patient Assistance Program team. This group was responsible for designing and administering a pharmacy benefit plan as a part of the Hillsborough County Health Care Plan. Graham also worked in the Managed Care sector while at CPS. 

Graham earned his Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Mississippi State University, with concentration areas of Business, Communication, and Kinesiology. Graham has extensive experience in athletic and sport-specific training. He is also an avid Mississippi State University Bulldog supporter. Hail State!

 


 

 


 

Susan D. O'Brien, MS, RPh

susan.jpgShe received her BS in Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University followed by a Masters Degree in Clinical Hospital Pharmacy from The Ohio State University. While she enjoyed several years of clinical practice in a variety of settings, she found her niche in management roles including work-flow analysis, quality assurance and project management. Her medical background combined with a strong attention to detail and project follow-through makes her uniquely suited to provide CE Symmetry clients with top quality editorial deliverables.

As the Editorial Services Director, Susan oversees the management of all aspects pertaining to the delivery of medical communication projects for CES. She is responsible for overseeing the efforts of the CE Symmetry Medical Writers and provides Quality Assurance support for all editorial projects.

 

 


 


 

 

In Fondest Memories - We unfortunately lost a very dear friend and colleague, Dan Corizzo, on February 1st, 2015. His big spirit and generous nature will be greatly missed by all of us. Rest in peace my friend.

Dan has 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.  After graduating from Lycoming College, Dan began his pharmaceutical career as a Sales Representative with Beecham Laboratories followed by a promotion to Hospital Sales Specialist.  After 7 years with Beecham, Dan accepted a Hospital Sales Specialist position with Miles/Bayer where he was not only involved with Hospital Sales on a management and training level but also in Managed Care and as a Medical Science Liaison.  In his 24 years with Bayer he won many awards and was recognized by his peers on multiple occasions.  In addition to his responsibilities in this position Dan also handled the majority of National Organizations for Bayer, ensuring Bayer’s position in Medical Education at these important organizations.

Upon retiring from Bayer Dan assumed the role of Project Manager with Conexus Health where he was involved in the administrative aspects of Clinical Studies including medical staff education, patient recruitment, and managing a Clinical Science Liaison group.  Clients included but were not limited to a major GI pharmaceutical company and the National Lipid Association. Dan brings a wealth of experience in virtually every area of Medical Education service from conference planning to coordination of the publication process.
